Flipping your Classroom

Flipping your classroom is a new teaching method that has the students learn the information at home and then complete assingments in class with the guidance of the teacher. This method is more problem/project based learning. The students reinforce the material through the in-class assignments they have to complete after being introduced to the material at home. After reading the book Flipping the Classroom, I wanted to learn more about the process so I interview two Jacobs teachers from the Indianapolis area who had flipped their classes. Their insights were very helpful and encouraging. I got a lot of good advice from them about flipping lessons and tips for when I become a teacher. The tasks seems significatly less overwhelming after I talked to them and this is definitely a teaching method I would consider using in my classroom. Below are my interviews:
